1971 Porsche 911E

This car was purchased from Seattle about 5 years ago. The car was completely rust and accident-free, all numbers matching to the Porsche Certificate Of Authenticity (COA).

This was originally a silver car, with black interior, factory electric sunroof, and air conditioning.

We wanted to stay true to the COA and restore the car back to original, which is what we did.

The car was stripped to bare metal, in and out, by dipping. All dings and small dents were repaired by traditional metalwork, after which our paintless dent repair specialist took every little small ripple or ding out of the body, until it was perfectly straight. We decided to minimize the need for any body filler. The car was painted using all Glasurit paints, after which it was color sanded to perfection.

We restored the interior fully with black leather, new OEM dash, factory Recaro sport seats with tilt columns, etc. Every detail of the car was either restored, replaced or repaired, according to need.

In order to add a small personal twist to this restoration, we decided to build a 2nd. engine for the car, in order to make this into a 'sleeper'. We built a 3.4-liter twin plug engine, complete with Pauter rods, custom pistons, and cylinders, ported twin plug heads with big valves, custom cams, headers, GT3 oil pump, 46 mm Webers, and much more. This engine required us to beef up the original 901 transmissions, which received every conceivable performance part to help it survive the brutal 3.4-liter torque and power. The transmission received a billet side cover, billet intermediate plate, Albin’s special ring, and pinion, and many more special parts.

The original number matching MFI engine was fully rebuilt and restored and placed on an engine stand, in case one day we wish to re-install the correct engine back into the car.

This car is an absolute beast in sheep's clothing, yet it maintains its value as no permanent changes were made to the car.
