1973 Volkswagen Thing

1973 Volkswagen Thing - Very original California car. Original paint & pan!

This exceptional 1973 VW Thing is as original as they come.  Original paint with some minor chip and small ding touch up repairs.

Original rust-free nearly perfect pan which was dry ice blasted & sanded underneath, etching primered & DP90 painted.  The same was done inside of the car.  Zero rust repairs were required.  Pedals rebuilt. New rubber mats. Near new tires. New top. Lots of new rubber, Germany only.  Runs and drives great.  Webasto heater, not tested but it is all complete. Original dual mufflers.  Original engine just rebuilt with under 400 miles on it since rebuild, this engine was built by a very famous So Cal VW expert, using German parts only.

New battery. New side curtains & curtain storage bags.  Odometer says 58,xxx miles, believed to be original miles.

This car has been in Southern California since it was new.  

It would be nearly impossible to duplicate a car this correct and genuine.
